 Rev. Frederick L Saviano is the Diocesan Director for the Propagation of the Faith in the Diocese of Bridgeport, Connecticut. He brings to the position a keen sense of “Mission” in the Church because he has had 26 years living experience as a missionary in Argentina and Peru. He has traveled widely and has seen firsthand the needs of God’s poor and their deep faith in spite of the many difficulties they face. He feels that from his desk in the Diocesan Office he can still be close to our brothers and sisters in the poorer countries because he keeps in touch with missionaries from all over the world and can present their needs to you. Together, you and Fr. Saviano are a backup team in the work of Christ among the poor. |
 Elaine Bissenden brings enthusiasm to the Mission Office as the Administrative
Assistant. Since she has been in the Office she has come to meet missionaries personally, as well as on the phone, and has fallen “head over heels” in love with the missions. She has, in effect, become a true missionary joining her coordinating efforts to the work of assisting the proclamation of the Good News of Jesus’ Gospel without even leaving her desk. She invites you to join with her and Fr. Saviano with your prayers and generosity. |
